TobyMac’s Diverse City Band Member Announces Retirement After 17 Years

Only weeks before TobyMac hits the road for the Hits Deep Tour, today longtime drummer Brian Haley (B.Haley) announced his retirement from TobyMac’s Diverse City band. Haley, who has been the drummer for Diverse City for 17 years, made the announcement via Instagram and Facebook Live. Watch the announcement here.

Over the last few years, Haley has been speaking about the topic of racial reconciliation and love. The We Are 1 Movement (http//www.theeunited1.com) was founded as a ministry to help promote this message.

Since the founding of the We Are 1 Movement, Haley has pulled double duty at TobyMac shows by speaking in addition to his drummer duties. In addition to the announcement about his retirement, Haley shared that he will still be speaking on the Hits Deep Tour this spring, saying that he and TobyMac are “in the kitchen cooking up something good”[…]
